[Opinions] Anastasia
I am writing in regards to this post: http://www.behindthename.com/bb/baby/4149825After reading your comments I still have a few questions...As I said in the last post Leah Elizabeth was a VERY common name in my generation (DOB 1986) I find Leah very plain/ordinary not able to make nicknames nor do I find it as a name I can't grow into and I have been thinking about this for years so im serious about it.Firstly, I've wanted to change my name prob since I was 5 and when i was 15 I was so sick of it I went by Mileah (not legal) for a few years for a test and needless to say it was an experience but it just wasn't a name suitable for me and I was too young. I've been set on Anastasia for 5 years I prefer long names as I can make nicknames, it's beautiful, not common. I do plan on going by Anastasia in a about a year as I will be moving out of province.I used to really dislike Leah but now I think it's just OK. i thought the best idea was just add another name but now my name is quite long but I don't mind having two middle names it's just Leah Elizabeth has been a part of me for quite some time and i thought it would be weird to let go of but im still unsure. What do you all think? According to my polls, I do not look like a Leah nor does Leah Anastasia Elizabeth flow. Should I pick a name that actually DOES flow? I think Anastasia Elizabeth goes together quite nicely but im open to options of other suggestions of names. Im 100% set on Anastasia though so I'd like combos for just Anastasia (2 or 3 middle name combos) and Anastasia Elizabeth combo's. I'd Prefer combos for names I like (see name list) Check my profile for my picture im a natural brunette or my other hair color here i switch back and forth: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/844/leahmorrison.jpg/namelist: http://www.behindthename.com/pnl/48122

I had the understanding you had already changed your name. You said the "process is done." Oh, well, why not just go with Anastasia Elizabeth? BTW, I looked at your pic and you DO look like an Anastasia. You really do. It's funny how that works out. My oldest dd has a friend named Ashley except she doesn't look like an Ashley at all. I told my dd one day that her friend looked like an Alexandra / Alex and was surprised when she said Ashley's father had wanted to name her Alexandra and her mom vetoed the idea.

I really like the name Leah. Leah wasn't all that common among people my age where I grew up, and I haven't met very many Leahs, so it sounds fresher to my ears than yours. I can see how you'd want to be named something else due to popularity, though. If I were in your situation, I'd probably want to change my name as well.I like the idea of using Anastasia Elizabeth Leah. It flows more smoothly than Leah Anastasia Elizabeth, and you'd still be able to keep Leah.I wasn't able to view your list (the message I received was that your list is not shared), but here are some ideas:
Anastasia Elizabeth Clara
Anastasia Elizabeth Fern
Anastasia Elizabeth Fleur
Anastasia Elizabeth Colette
Anastasia Elizabeth Laure
Anastasia Elizabeth Gemma
Anastasia Elizabeth Noelle
Anastasia Elizabeth Nona
Anastasia Elizabeth Vera
Anastasia Elizabeth Ruby
Anastasia Elizabeth Zoe

I like Anastasia but I feel it does need a nickname for at least some of the time as it's quite heavy going. I know an Anastasia (she's Latvian) and she goes by Stacey most of the time, which is nice. As for combosI can't find your name list? But how aboutAnastasia Bethan

Anastasia Elizabeth Leah flows beautifully. And I think you're wise to keep your old naming identity.
