Bruno Llewellyn Whelan - Bruno is a Muggle, which makes him the only non-magic member of his family. Good-natured and tolerant, Bruno continues to be amazed by his wife and children, but he's happy to keep one foot firmly in the non-magical world by working in the speciality tea shoppe his mother started 30 years ago. Bruno is overweight--he would prefer "big boned"--with straight, black hair and brown eyes. At 5"9", he is several inches shorter than his wife.
Hebe Aquila Whelan - Hebe is a half-blood witch, a former Ravenclaw, and a professional Quidditch player, playing Beater for the Appleby Arrows since she was 20. Her career takes her away from her family more than she would like, and it isn't easy explaining her absences to her Muggle neighbors who know she's an athelete but aren't sure what kind (Bruno has told them everything from curling to jelly wrestling to competitive knitting). Hebe is an even 6 feet tall in her stocking feet, and she has grey eyes, curly brown hair that she wears short, and a curvy body.
Artemis Betony Whelan - Artemis is in her 7th year at Hogwarts. She is a Ravenclaw who adores Herbology and plays Beater for the house team. Her teammates compare her to a Wildfire Whizz-Bang--a big noise in a small package--since she is only 4'11". Artemis is known for her intelligence and her determination to be the best at everything. Most people probably think she has her eye on a position at the Ministry, but only her Hufflepuff best friend knows that she really wants to be a stay-at-home mom someday, the exact opposite of her own mother. Artemis has an athletic body, her mother's curly brown hair, and her father's brown eyes. She is capable of producing a fully corporeal Patronus in the form of a crup.
Ilona Miram Whelan - Ilona is in her 4th year at Hogwarts and is the first Hufflepuff in her family's history. She thinks Quidditch is stupid, and she spends most of her time doing extra reading for her favorite class, History of Magic, and dreaming of being accepted into the Auror program along with her best friend, a Gryffindor. She has a reputation for being a bit of a goody-goody. On her own, she is struggling to master the Patronus charm; the half-formed shape she can produce now appears to be a unicorn. Ilona has straight black hair, grey eyes, and is already on her way to being as tall as her mother at 5'9". She is also developing her mother's curvy shape and can be quite self-conscious about it.
Kasper Siorus Whelan - Kasper is a Gryffindor, which means he is separated from his identical twin Titus for the first time. A 2nd year, Kasper loves DADA, but doesn't have tremendous ambition. He'd be perfectly happy to work with his father and grandmother in the family business one day. Kasper is a horrible tattletale, even to the point of once almost losing his best friend, a fellow Gryffindor, because of it. When he eventually learns the Patronus charm, he'll be embarrassed that his Patronus takes the form of a goose, but it really does fit his loud, nosy personality well. Kasper looks a lot like his paternal grandmother: straight, ginger hair and hazel eyes and an average body type.
Titus Griffith Whelan - Like his twin, Titus is a 2nd year, but Titus is in Ravenclaw. His favorite thing to do is fly, and though he'd love to be on the team, all the positions are full; no one under 5th year seems to ever make the team anyway, something Titus and his fellow Ravenclaw best friend consider very unfair. Titus is something of a goody-goody, with great respect for rules and order. Like his sister Ilona, he dreams of becoming an Auror. When he masters the Patronus Charm, his Patronus will take the shape of a Niffler. Like Kasper, Titus has red hair, hazel eyes, and an average body type.
Kestrel Bevan Whelan - The baby of the family, Kestrel is now a Slytherin firstie. A skinny boy with wavy brown hair and grey eyes, he dreams of becoming a professional Quidditch player like his mum...he'd never tell her, though, that he'd rather play for the team that shares his name--the Kenmare Kestrels--than the Arrows. He fully intends to become a Chaser on his house team either next year or the year after that, but for now he just cheers on his oldest sister, as long as Ravenclaw's not playing Slytherin, that is. Kestrel loves Astronomy and has a reputation for being friendly that has made him popular, particularly among other Slytherins, including his best friend. Someday, he will produce a Patronus in the shape of an owl.
