I pronoounce it like TAHR-eek or tahr-EEK. Tariq I pronounce tahr-EEK, and Tarek I pronounce TAHR-ek.
Tariq is my favorite. Then Tarik, then Tarek. Terrick and Tarrick don't seem like the same name, but I don't dislike them.
If you want TAYR-ik, I'd go with Terek, Terrick, or maybe Tarek. Tarrick looks like TAHR-ik to me, like the word 'tar', and Tariq and Tarik seem to have the emphasis on the last syllable, like EEK.
