It was my grandfather's name (and a friend's grandfather's name), so it still feels pretty "old man" to me [but then, both of these Harolds have passed away-- isn't it that once the older generation of the name is disappearing, it comes back for the younger generation?].
(And I think of Harold and Maude, which is a good association for me)
I think I'd be pleasantly surprised to meet a little Harold.
My grandfather was Harold Leroy, but perhaps something that feels a little more modern will make me appreciate it more...
