I think Sofia is prettier-looking than Sofie, but she will probably be called Sofie whether there's an "a" or not. You could always call her "Soph"/"Sof". And I prefer "Sophie" over "Sofie". Just my opinion.

Well we haven't figured out which spelling and it'll depend on certain things. for now It's Sophia/Sophie but we don't know for sure yet... We'll choose what we think will be best and prefer
Why would Sophia be called Sophie whether there was an "a" at the end or not? I don't get that to be honest.. nicknames aren't 24/7. :s
