[Opinions] Re: Edith & Felicity
With all of the old-fashioned names that have become more and more popular, I don't think Edith will be that much of a jolt for most people. After all, it wasn't that long ago that I thought of Emma as an old grandma name too, and now look how popular that name is. The good news on that is that, while Edith will be recognizable and, I think, easily accepted, I don't think it's likely to be in the top 10 in the next 5 years or so.I sort of like Felicity, as well, and if you're looking for a more "up-to-date" name, then this is the one I would go with. Actually, I think either Edith Felicity or Felicity Edith sound beautiful together. It's hard to say which combination I would use because I think Edith Felicity flows better, but I like Lissy slightly better than Edie.
