A girl in my math class is named Minerva. That's not exactly a name you hear everyday! I'm not too fond the name's sound, but I like the feeling it evokes. It makes me think of someone who is fiery and brainy -- which makes sense when one considers the mythological namesake. For some reason, I also imagine a redhead when I think of the name.
