[Opinions] Re: WDYT of Mary? (m)

1. I love it. It was overly used in the past, but it's an endangered species today. It would be very refreshing to meet a little Mary one day.
2. I like the nn Molly, but I prefer Mae or Mimi.
3. In general, I prefer formal names because a person should have the option of a name they can be proud to use professionally. But in your case Molly has been used as a formal name for long enough that I don't think it needs Mary to prop it up. I still prefer Mary to Molly, I just don't think it's a necessity.
4. Yes, I like the combination Mary Elizabeth very much. It's very refreshing. The fact that it is also a family combination only adds to it.
5. Mary's sister: Charlotte, Caroline, Elsa*, Alice, Cora, Celia, Vivian, Rose / Rosa, Georgina, Nicola, Adele, Celeste, Violet, Anna, Bridget, Cathleen, Nora, Fiona, Clare, Isla, Evelyn, Jacintha, Eloise, Isabelle*.
* Variant of Elizabeth. Not to be used if Elizabeth is the mn for Mary.
