[Opinions] Emeline
I think I am leaning toward this spelling of Emmeline/Emmaline now. Emeline, with a single m seems leaner and more subtle/finessed. Plus, it is French. I do love the name (both pronunciations).

I do like it (prefer Emmeline which seems "right"), however, if popularity is a concern of yours, then there's nothing to really distinguish Emeline from Emily, Emilia or Emma since they could all have the same potential nns (Emmy, Em). This sort of reminds me of one of my faves, Gemma. While it doesn't begin with an E, it rhymes with Emma and it makes me wonder if it would come across as an Emma alternative (and a not very creative one at that). That's probably why I'd never use it.

I'd be a bit wary, because I think they are generally pronounced differently...Emmeline: Emm-ah-lyne
Emeline: Em-eh-leenI love Emeline though, I know a French woman my age by this name, and she's one of those people that could really make you like a name. :)

I've adored Emeline (this spelling particularly) for a very long time! It's so trim and refined.

Very nice. I tend to prefer paired-down, streamlined spellings (such as Elinor rather than Eleanor), and Emeline is my favorite spelling.

I think it's missing something. My favorite spelling is Emmeline. I pronounce it EM-meh-line. I don't like Emmaline much. The A sticks out.

I much prefer the one 'm' spelling. I always had problems with the two 'm's looking to much like "Emma" and I wanted Emeline to be her own thing. I still kind of like the a in there, Emaline but I know that isn't a legit spelling.

I love Emmeline, with this spelling. Emeline doesn't look complete to me. When it comes to Emmelina/Emmalina/Emelina though, I prefer Emelina, which is weird. It doesn't look more complete than Emeline, but I dunno, I guess I just prefer these spellings? It's a really nice name though!

I prefer both "m"s (and no "a"), but this spelling is clear and easy to understand and I could see it possibly growing on me, as Elinor has. I also enjoy both pronunciations.

I love the pronunciation M-ee-leen, not really a fan of the Line or Lin ways though. I personally prefer Emmeline, but Emeline is nice and I prefer it to Emmaline definitely
