I agree with nearly everything you've said! Ciaran is also my favourite boys name!
I love how it sounds, and how it's spelled (I prefer Ciaran over Kieran, although both are nice). For me, Ciaran and Kiefer are way too close as siblings. The 'kee' sound makes them too similar.
