[Opinions] Sinjin
I'll admit my recent viewings of "Mad Men" has alerted me to this name and I'm really loving it at the moment. So wdyt? Too over the top?

I didn't know people actually used Sinjin. It's a hideous name.

I love the sound of Sinjin. But the phonetic spelling puts me off. I much prefer St. John.[In my nerdier moments I imagine children's names for the couples in "Pride and Prejudice." I have Charlotte Collins giving birth to Winifred and St. John. Winifred pleased Lady Catherine because it was appropriately saintly and non-aristocratic. But she did not approve of St. John. I never worked out how Charlotte got to use St. John instead of John, the safer choice. And yes, I have too much time on my hands sometimes.]

I love it. It's so totally piratey.

Oh!It is piratey! I never thought of it that way, it kept just making me think of Zildjian (because of all the vertical lines and dots, I think). I can definitely get into Sinjin as a piratey name.

I dislike how it has the word "sin" in it and the sound is not appealing to me in general.

Much prefer St John

I was going to ask.......If St John (or Saint John) nn Sinjin would be better but then having "St." right there in the name seemed sort of odd to me

Me tooSinjin looks too exotic, which doesn't really appeal to me.
