Hello, sorry I haven't been here for a while, been busy and don't have a computer.

Anyway, I have been thinking a lot about the name Blair for a boy. What are your thoughts? Is it too plain? Does it goe with my other childrens' names (Hayley, Skye and Nathan).

Which middle name do you prefer?

I'm a big fan of Blair on a boy; I've been liking it a lot lately. I think it fits fine with your other names, and it makes it even- 2 unisex names and 2 that are clearly a girl and a boy.

Blair Daniel is my favorite of your combos.

I think it goes with your kids' names. I like it better for a girl though.

It does go with your other children's names, to my ears anyway. Works well, in fact.

I find Matthew soporifically bland, and I've met a few girl Kristens, so Blair Daniel it is! If it was me, I'd reverse the order and have Daniel Blair, but it isn't me ...

heh. I like it! it's got really personal meaning to me though. It's handsome and bold and really unisex.

I like Daniel the best. Matthew seems like a cop-out and Kristen is just too girly with it. Daniel is so solid and old-new.

I don't care for it. It sounds identical to blare, an unattractive word. And it is so unisex that it just fades into the background.

In the USA, Kristen is exclusively a girls' name, so I would always assume a Blair Kristen is a girl.
