I probably wouldn't use it because it's not Italian-sounding enough. But I'd probably spell it Hailey.

That just made me think about how you could 'Italianise' Hayley... I can't decide whether I love or hate the thought of Hailia :D

I have a neighbour that named her daughter after a soap character she was watching when pregnant (I think it was Santa Barbara) and going by Croatian spelling/pronunciation the girl's name is spelled Hejli (I shudder every time I see it). I guess Heili would do the job in Italian.
