Help[Surname] Amusa
does anyone know where amusa comes from i was watching the news last year and a guy with my grandfathers last name came up they were in north africa libya my mother says half of are family comes from turkey

Very difficult to google on a name like Amusa. I couldn't find good information, only that the name is widely spread in Africa and elsewhere in the world. From Wiki I learned, that many names in Libya have Turkish influences:
