[Opinions] Kynaston - pronunciation?
I saw the name Kynaston on the site, and I really like the way it looks, though I'm a bit at a loss as to how to pronounce it.

KINE-ah-stin, would be my guess.
My guess is that it's pronounced KIN-ə-stən.
When I was in high school, one of my best friends had an older sister named Kyna, pronounced KEE-na. Because of her, I'd pronounce Kynaston as KEEN-as-tən.
It's a guess based upon my experience, though. No clue how close or far I am from the true pronunciation.

Woah, I didn't know that was in the database! Or even could be a first name. That's the surname of the saxophone professor at my university, and I've never seen or heard of it anywhere else. He pronounces it KIN-ə-stən. (So basically same as Ampheliese said.)

I went to school with a girl whose surname was Kynaston. She pronounced it KIN-as-tǝn.
