[Opinions] BA: Aurora Rita
My childhood friend Marlena and her boyfriend Sam had a baby girl 2 and a half weeks ago. They named her Aurora Rita, as far as I know Rita is a family name from Marlena's side.
An acquaintance of mine, Sasha-Marie, also had a baby girl a month ago. They named her Sofia Jackie Catherine.
Any thoughts on Sofia and Aurora?

Whoa, Aurora Rita has a whole lot of R. Aurora is really nms.
Would have prefer Sofia Jacqueline Catherine (or not, that's super clunky as well). Sofia / Sophia is cute, but boring.

Aurora is lovely. Rita is spunky. I don't care for the flow of "Aurora Rita" but honoring trumps all else. Congratulations to the parents and nice job on the name overall.
Sofia Catherine is great. Jackie is cute but she looks like she showed up for a gala symphony event wearing pajamas. Shouldn't she have put on her Jacqueline outfit for the occasion? Just sayin'. Sometimes I do like nns as mns. They can help to lighten an otherwise heavy combo. But here Jackie feels glaringly out of place. Congrats to your acquaintance.

Completely agree.
I love Aurora...It's a bit of a guilty pleasure name for me, but I find Aurora Rita a bit of a mouthful. Family names win out though.
I like Sofia as well, though I prefer the Sophia spelling. Sophia Catherine is a lovely combo.
