I wouldn't quite call that terrible. Carmichael would've been much better... not sure why they felt the need to spell it with a K. I don't like it, but hey, maybe it's a family surname for them.
The rest of those names listed, on the other hand, are rather terrible.
I don't think of Kirby as a strictly male name. The only ones I've known were girls, I suppose.
