Which spelling do you like?
I prefer Carissa but I just saw on a message board a baby named Karissa with the nickname "Kissa". That sounded so cute to me! So what do you think? Cissa wouldn't work as well I don't think....looks like it is pronounced Sissa.

I like Karissa better; especially if you are going to use that nickname. It wouldn't look right with the 'C' at the beginning.

I am not sure how I feel about the name, but I almost always like the K spellings over C.

Sorry. I don't like either name / variant.
I always sounds like "caress" to me, and that's too sexual for a person's name. It's probably just a quirk of my mind, but it prevents me from liking the name.
