Lol, I don't think it's that bad, just really dated. It was my class name for 3 years in high school french. I grew so used to it that even people in my dreams would sometimes call me Janine.

I prefer the Jeannine spelling, one of the rare instances where I like the more complicated spelling over the simpler one.
