I agree that
Llyr looks more complete than
Lir. If people can handle
Lloyd, they can probably catch on to
Llyr fairly quickly. Although there would be more spelling and pronunciation issues with
Llyr, I prefer it to Lear. Lear is decent, but I think of
King Lear right away. The association doesn't bother me, but if you'd rather not have that association, I recommend
Llyr.
