Round 2 for your playing pleasure!
Prompt: Two years have passed since the birth of the princess, and the land is doingg extremely well. Harvests have been plentiful, trade is strong, and the general populace is overall happy. There is peace and prosperity. People are attributing this to the new ruler, who has had strong advisers to back her/him up and has been maintaining the image of a mature, responsible family man/woman dedicated to family and the people. So far she/he has only made relatively small, popular moves that have boosted confidence and popularity. Amid all this, the royal couple announced that they were once again expecting. With good feelings towards the royal family at their apex, councilors have all agreed that it is time for a pet project the ruler has been working on since taking the throne to be announced. It was deemed too controversial for a new ruler, but with such a high mood over the land now was deemed an opportune time. The project did indeed cause controversy, enough to worry the councilors, but just as the controversy reaches a peak, the newest royal child is born and provides the perfect distraction to break up the tension. The new ruler, amid all the flurry over the new baby, quietly goes ahead with the project, convinced it is the right thing to do. What is this pet project, and why is it so controversial?
Baby: If your birthday is on an even number day (2nd, 10th, 24th, etc), you have a daughter. If it is odd, you have a son. Your child has one name reflecting the kingdom's mood at the time of his/her birth (a name that means happy, prosperity, lucky, etc.) and one name honoring the parent of the same gender. Every other name is up to you.
Rules:
1. This is KUY, so no drops and sign-ups are welcome up to round 5.
2. You keep up with ages.
3. AT LEAST two middle names for each person are required.

With the empire doing well under Oberon's rule, he is growing in confidence and feels secure in making more ambitious moves. The outlands past the empire's borders have one region that has been a somewhat troubling presence on the radar for a while; while never openly aggressive towards the Empire, they are staunch in their desire for independence and are seen as a strange, hostile people. With a drought predicted, the empire in a time of wealth as well as happiness at the news of Vivian's new pregnancy, Oberon feels the time is right to launch a plan to create a relationship with the Sun Clan, as they call themselves, for trade and support. Although his councillors know many people would be wary about this, fearing he sympathized too much with those who blatantly shunned the empire, they see the reason behind it and do not discourage him. Rumours of a threat from Sun Clan militia soon After discreetly sending ranger envoys and starting negotiations, Oberon sweats about his decision, but is still convinced it is what is necessary, even if many may not see the situation through his eyes. Soon the birth of his son takes over his attention, and in the same week positive replies and an offer of bread from the Sun Clan come through. It is an auspicious time. Oberon and Vivian name their son Tarquin, after a historical figure who helped to unite the Empire in its early days; Oberon after his father, as befits an heir; and Dara, which means "wealthy," signifying the prosperity in the realm at the time of his birth.

The idea came to her when she was seventeen after a series of events involving orphans, including a woman offering to sell her a baby she claimed she had found abandoned in the street and a band of orphans accosting her retinue as she rode through the city. As there were obviously problems with the system of orphanages as it stood, Maddalena determined to mend it. Her plan included a hospital for unwed mothers where they could have their babies and recover in peace, a foundling hospital for abandoned infants and small children, and a series of orphan schools where children without families could gain education.

It has only been a few months since Queen Nastia and Prince Samuel married. Nastia and Samuel's families have known each other for years and it was always thought that they would marry. Little did they know that Nastia and Samuel would fall in love before anyone could ever say anything about it. The kingdom is thrilled with their new rulers. The rulers however are yet to get the hang of the throne but within time all will settle down.

The couple has just thrived with their new opportunity of parenthood. They are very hands-on parents, especially since Nastia's parents were not overly hands-on. She swore she would not let her children be raised by nannies. The kingdom was thrilled when the couple produced an heir to the throne so immediately after their wedding.

Asher Lorenze has been born into the Queendom of Viktorie. Asher meaning blessed or happy in hebrew was the perfect name for the new Prince. The birth of Asher has created a very good cohesion in the land. He came at the peak of controversy. The Queen and Prince have started a petition to the royal court to overturn the law of only females being in the throne. The Queen and soon to be King hope to create a fair chance for both their daughter and son and their other future heirs.
