The western names 2 of my students chose today for using when playing games were Mindy and Kyla.

Their real names are Natsume (nahtsoomay) and Runa.

Mindy isn't a name I would use myself, but it sounds friendly. I don't mind it.

I like Kyla even though I don't see myself using it. I prefer it to Kylie and Kayla, though.

Runa is a pretty name. I like the sound of Natsume as well.

Runa is pretty. Mindy and Kyla aren't really my style, but I think Kyla is the better of the two.

Runa is listed as a Scandinavian name in the database. Here I'm guessing it has a different etymology. What does Runa mean in Japanese?

Runa has multiple possibilities in Jpns., depending on which kanji are used. I'm not sure which kanji this child uses though. Sorry.
