Question: Would it be alright for my "kids" have a double first name whenever you ask for a different middle name set up? Only because in Russia, the middle names ends in -evna, -ovna, -evich, or -ovich, after the father.

Yeah, sure! I guess you could also just have the middle name be a first name - but I think that was what you were trying to say...soooo forget what I just said and do what you were planning on doing!
