Round One
You and your SO married two weeks ago. Who is s/he? How are you liking the married life? Your SO works in a high-profile job (ie-lawyer, politician, sports star, popular writer...etc). What is it? Does s/he like what s/he does? Do you have a job? If so, where do you work? Does your SO's position affect how people treat you at work? Round Two---1 1/2 years later.
You have just given birth to your first child! It's a baby girl. How was your pregnancy? What does your new daughter look like? You and your SO are thinking about adopting a child from a foreign country. How do you feel about this? Which county are you thinking of adopting from?Round Three--2 years later.
You've just welcomed another daughter into your family. Once again, how did your pregancy go? Any complications? How does your first daughter feel about having another baby in the family? In addition to the new baby, you are finishing up the paperwork to adopt a child from a foreign county. What is his/her name? How old is s/he? Are there any special accomadations you will have to make for your newest child (ie--language barrier, food, cultural, physical)?Round Four--4 years later.
How is your life going? One of your daughters is six. Is she excited about going to school? One of your daughters is four. She recently discovered that she can do something she couldn't before. What is it? How is your adopted child adjusting? Are there any lingering problems? To spice things up a little, you adopted a puppy. Where did you get it? Is it friendly? What did you name it? Round Five--1 year later.
You just gave birth to your surprise children--fraternal twins! (That's boy/girl twins). What did you name them? How do the various members of your family feel about them? Have you undergone any major life changes (ie--a move, a job change, a major family disaster, a disease...)? Also, you have found out through the adoption agency that your adopted child has an older sister who is looking to be adopted. Will you adopt her? How old is she? What is her name?Round Six--3 years later.
How is your family? Are you and your SO still together? If not, what happened to break you apart? Your two biological daughters are doing well. They have both found an activity that they are good at. What is it? Your puppy is about 5 years old. S/he seemed lonely, so you bought another pet to be a companion. What was that pet? Is it a good companion or not? If you chose to adopt the older sister of your already adopted child, then...You have found out that she is a genius in one particular aspect. What is that? How is she handling it? Does it make her feel uncomfortable? Are you doing anything special to expand her knowledge?Round Seven--Recap.
It has been twenty years. How is your family doing? Did they all go to college? Get married? Land good jobs? Do you have any grandchildren? What do you think about the life you have led?Sorry it isn't grand, but its all I could muster up.

Round One
Me & Chris got married two weeks ago. He is the local MP for our area for the liberal democrats. That means that we get quite a lot of money and we have just moved to a nice new house which is great! I have got a new job too, I'm a primary school teacher at the local school which I really enjoy. All the kids are great and my collegues are very friendly and supportive! I hope I can have my own kids some day.

Round Two---1 1/2 years later.
Welcome our new baby girl! Taryn Faith! She is absolutely beautiful: dark brown hair and big hazel eyes. She is a very quite baby and so lovely! We are also thinking of adopting another baby - from Asia, maybe China; not yet, of course, but one day.Round Three--2 years later.
Welcome to our second baby girl! Kayla Rachel! The birth had a few complications though - there were twins, but they were born very premature and the second twin had a heart problem and died after 4 days. Her name was Aimee Sophia. Kayla is fine now though and Taryn loves her - the two of them get on great! We will soon be adopting another child, from China - the paperwork is just being sorted. Her name is Grace Liang and she is 1 year old, so in between the ages of Taryn and Kayla. Luckily, she hasn't started speaking yet and she has been exposed to some english before in her life, so it should be easy enough for her to learn english.Round Four--4 years later.
Life in going well for us at the minute, we just moved to a bigger house. Taryn is 6 now, Grace is 5 and Kayla is 4. All the kids are doing great, and Grace has adapted so well - she speaks english perfectly, although it did take her a while to get used to it. We also adopted a new puppy from the local shelter, which we named Cody. He is a little labrador puppy, with only 3 legs because he was in an accident. He is very sweet and gets on great with the children!Round Five--1 year later.
Welcome to our twins - Tristan Jack & Ailsa Kate.
Its been very hard work, with 5 children now! Taryn & Grace have adapted really well and the both love helping me look after the twins. Kayla is a bit jealous I think, because she always liked being the baby of the family, and now she gets less attention. We are also thinking about adopting another child, Grace's older sister from China - who is 9 years old. She lived with an older couple in America so she speaks english, but the parents separated and the child was put into care again. Her name is Jada Mulan.

I'm trying to use names I wouldn't normally pick this time around:Round One:
Adam and I were married two weeks ago. Jon is a popular children's writer- he's currently writing a mystery series. Our wedding ceremony was beautiful- early September is really a beautiful time to have a wedding. The reception was fun, too. While I don't think the marriage has changed our relationship, it's nice to know it's official. I work as a pediatrician at the local hospital. It's fun because a lot of my patients know my husband's books- some have even read them!Round Two:
Eight months ago, we discovered that I was pregnant! At first, I had no morning sickness, but after awhile, I had terrible back pain and was forced to go on maternity leave at seven months, on bedrest at thirty-seven weeks. But the end result was one of the best moments of my life! A week ago, our first daughter, Lola Jacqueline was born. She has dark, thick hair and big brown eyes. She's beautiful! It was so amazing to me how Adam can "catch" Lola as she comes out, clean her off, then give her back to me so she can nurse. Birth is a beautiful, beautiful thing. We have also decided to adopt a sibiling for Lola from a different country. We were thinking from Poland- that's where my grandfather came from and Adam's mother came from. I think it's a really great oppurtunity for us. Round Three:
We didn't mean to get pregnant- were were thinking of waiting another year and seeing how the adoption worked out, but the baby was out before the adoption papers were signed! Similar to my first pregnancy, I had back pain throughout the second and third trimesters. However, it wasn't as severe as the first time. Margot Daisy was born! Lola loved having a little sister at first, but since Margot is so much work (she's a bit of a loud baby!) Lola is upset that we can't give her as much attention. We're trying to even things out, though.

Mine.I'm afraid it isn't very creative.Round One!
John Elijah "Jack" and I got married two weeks ago. Pure bliss. We love being married to each other and couldn't imagine anything different. Jack is a lawyer for an international law firm that handles all sorts of high priority cases. It's a high pressure job, but Jack doesn't let that faze him. As for me, I work in the pharmaceutical (sp?) department of a CVS. It's not glamorous, but it pays well. I like that Jack is doing great things as far as justice goes, but I'm not thrilled about his getting national attention when he does it...especially if he ever messes up. Yes, people treat me a little differently where I work, but its mostly the coworkers and they're full of fun. Round Two!
I can't believe Jack and I have been married for 1 and a half years already. What makes it more unbelieveable is that we just welcomed our first child into the world. Nicole Emberlyn, or "Nikki" was born on Janurary 25th at 6:14 am. Nikki is a beautiful baby, with her father's blue eyes and my dark brown hair. The pregnancy went surprisingly well. Nikki was born only two days early and she is (thankfully!) healthy. Jack and I have been thinking about adopting a child from Russia. We aren't sure yet, but we are seriously considering it.Round Three!
Another two years have passed. Nikki is a happy, energetic toddler who loves to create messes. She's a little concerned about the new addition to our family. Jack and I had another daughter this past month. We named her Cailyn Michelle, or "Lyn".

Once again...I have to do a double post because it won't let me edit the other one. This time, I'm only doing round seven on here because the rest is in the first post.Round 7!
Twenty years and here's our family.
Jack-has reached the grand old age of fifty seven!!! He still teaches law at the college and he's published a few books on law and theories and justice.
Me-I'm fifty three!!! I've officially retired because Jack's income is enough for the two of us. I still give occasional lecture on foreign adoption, but mostly I write children's books now that deal with real life issues. I don't get paid much and its not a regular job, but its really something I enjoy doing.
Kitty--is 39! Wow, almost forty! She did great for herself as a rocket scientist and held the top position in NASA for a number of years, but recently resigned to stay at home with her two young children and the three adopted children she and her husband, Mark Grant are getting next month. Kitty's children are 3 and 2 months. They are Keziah Amber (3) and Melanie Skye (2 mo). Keziah is a ballerina and seems to be have the mathematical talent of her mother. She can already add and subtract as well as multiply simple problems. Kitty and Mark are adopting a sibling group from the same Russian orphanage we adopted Kitty and Evgeni from. The children they are getting are; Alexei Pavlo (10), Sergei Maxim (9), and Anna Katerina (6). They hope the children will adjust okay.
Evgeni--now 36! He's done well for himself too. He opened up an animal rehabilitaion center that has all sorts of rare species and animals that are in popular demand in zoos nationwide. Evgeni has a real talent with animals and has been hailed as 'the best of our time'. He never married, but devotes himself fully to his work, which includes researching new medicenes and ways of caring for the animals he rehabilitates.
