Definitely Sean!nm

Seán.Meh. It is overused and boring where I live (West of Ireland). Seems every little boy these days is Seán or Jack.

I prefer Sean, I think it's quite handsome. I don't really like Shaun or Shawn.

I like both, but I prefer Sean. Not sure why. Shaun makes me think of Australia and Sean makes me think of Ireland. The only spelling I don't like is Shawn.

Sean makes me think of Ireland and England. Shaun makes me think of England and Australia. Shawn makes me think of the US and Canada.

SeanThe others look dumb to me.But I think it's really bland and I've never cared for it.

Sean...followed by Shawn and then Shaun. Sean and Shawn are what I'm most used to. Shaun looks somewhat incorrect to me, even though I know it's a common variant. It's an okay name. I don't like it or dislike it.

Sean.I think it looks cleaner. :)

Sean definitely. I really like it at the moment. I wouldn't use it for a first name but would consider it for a middle name.I don't mind Shaun but I really dislike Shawn.

Sean
I've never been able to relate to peoples' attraction to Sean (and variants.)
I find it to be quite uninspirational.Sean is the most authentic, I suppose-- and thus my preferred. Shawn and Shaun are probably the ones I'm least fond of.- Francesca

SeanI prefer this because its the original. If out of Shaun or Shawn I prefer Shawn, just because it looks a bit better.
I have a Sean and a Shawn in the same class! (annoying!)

Sean -- because it most closely approximates the Irish form of John (I can't make the symbol (fada?) over the a. In general, I like it a lot.

SeanThe others just look kinda..dumb to me. Dumbed down and childish. I much prefer the original.Whatever the spelling the name is nms- I don't find the sound attractive at all.

Sean...I also like Shaun. Shawn is my least favorite but I don't hate the spelling. I think Sean looks the most mature. Shaun and Shawn look slightly immature, with Shawn seeming the most immature.Shawn was the first spelling I knew of when I was a little kid. Then in middle school I started to prefer Sean. I've known so many boys with this name that it is a bit boring but I still like the sound of it.

I've never liked Shaun or Shawn because it's like you have to pronounce it Sh-AWN and that's just horrid. I like Sean a lot better in spelling and looking at it automatically makes me [want to] pronounce it softer. Sorry if that sounds weird.

Hm, usually I have really strong opinions on spellings, but I actually don't mind any of those three spellings. Weird. :) I find the name kind of refreshing, actually.

SeanIt looks the most correct to me, and it's the first spelling I'd think of. I suppose I probably have known about the same amount of Seans and Shawns though. Shawn doesn't look too off to me, but Shaun looks a little weird whenever I see it. I've only known maybe two who spelled it that way.I used to really love Shawn when I was a kid, and Sean more recently. I still like it, but I guess it's gotten a bit boring to me so I wouldn't consider using it anymore.

Sean is my favorite spelling, but Shaun ok too. I don't really like Shawn, don't know why. I don't see much sense in having to spell it phonetically, almost everyone knows how to pronounce Sean
