Elise is not my favorite form of Elizabeth, but I do like it. It especially like it pronounced e-LEEZ.
1) According to my "rules", it's only half-way honoring.
2) Elsa, for sure. I love Elsa.
3) Elsa, because I like it more than Elise. But, I can see how that might be too many Elsas for one family.
4) If it's going to be a middle name anyway, I'd go with Elsa because it's the actual family name. Elise does sound filler-sh as a middle name.
Melody Elise sounds fine.
I don't know anyone with Elise as their first name. I know several girls with the middle name Elise.
