I look at Bernard and think bər-NAHRD but I have an uncle named Bernard and it's BUR-nərd so I don't know what's up with my brain. Thus I would assume bər-NAHRD LOO-ee. Or maybe loo-EE. Idk. It's sounds a bit OTT schmanzy that way.
