I think it could work, but it's definitely one of those names people notice. I met a Tuesday once at a middle school state Science Olympiad competition. She's the only one though. One time when I was in high school and worked at Burger King, I wrote "Tuesday" on my nametag for fun. I had one person smile at"my name," in a complimentary way.

Sunday is really the only other day name I think is very usable.
