I think it's fine. Silly, but pretty cute. I think they're all usable except maybe Thursday, and only that because it's uglyish. Friday is such a cool word I'm surprised it's not used more.
I know a little Wednesday, as I've mentioned. She's 9 and one of the coolest kids ever. She walked dogs with me a couple weeks ago, actually, and complained while I was walking Brutus that the shelter should give them better names. "I think you should give dogs names you like but can't give to people," she said. Kinda funny coming from a Wednesday, I thought.
I asked what she would name Brutus and she said "Um... anything but Brutus!" and then cracked up. And then she ran off to see the name of the dog her dad was walking, and almost peed herself when she found out it was "Barb."
Uhh yeah. Day as a nickname is a little contrived but I guess it works. Anyway, Tuesday's cute, I think it would be pretty easy to bear. The parents would be a little self-consciously weird, which is just fine...
