Journeys, eh? Could be a good sib for Beatrice, then, rather than for the showy Xanthe.
I like it very much for a boy and not at all for a girl: that's what Rowena is for.
I've always had the impression that rowan trees should be planted near one's house "because" they keep witches away. I'd plant it there because it's so beautiful; anyway, there aren't that many witches where live.
