William Arthur Philip Louis and Catherine Elizabeth. Hmm.
It's certainly looking like Elizabeth for a girl; and in view of the Duke of Edinburgh and the duchess's sister, maybe Philippa could be in the mix? I hope the world isn't presented with another Princess Diana! Philippa Catherine Louise Elizabeth has a regal, polysyllabic flow. Or, the Prince of Wales was quoted as saying he'd have named a daughter Mary Rose after the battleship! Queen Mary was a ghastly old horror, but Princess Margaret Rose was ... pretty lively. Elizabeth Mary Rose Catherine?
George for a boy, I hope. Another William would be one too many. I'd love Prince David of Wales, so let's play! David Albert William George? David William Michael Charles? David Louis Charles Philip ? (I wondered why David Charles George Michael sounded wrong ... but I worked it out!)
Of your choices, I'm not seeing Matilda or Caroline; or Arthur as a fn, or James at all. Good names, but lacking in familial resonance.
