[Opinions] Fox
I have recently fell in love with Fox. Although, I am not sure it goes well with brother Russell. I know some sites say Russell means red fox and some say it just mean red. Would it be too much to have a son named Russell and then one named Fox? Any middle name suggestions? Any names that have the same feel as Fox that might go better with Russell? Thank you :)

MulderIf the first thing a person thinks of isn't the animal or the television channel / movie production company, then it'll probably be Fox Mulder from the "X-Files." I don't think this is necessarily a bad association... but I think there are just too many associations for this to really work as a name and not get a lot of raised eyebrows.

I would have never thought of the sexual association with the name. This is why I asked so I could see if I was missing something that would make the name unattractive. Guess this is just going to have to go on my guilty pleasure list. Thanks for your opinions.

Most people wouldn't notice the meaning of Russell, but I wouldn't use it. I do know a 7 year old girl named Fox, but I can't take it seriously as a name. Like others have said, it's a channel (Fox News is known for being biased, even though they say they aren't), an animal, or slang for someone who's hot. It's just not a name.

The Russell connection is irrelevant, because few people would ever notice that.DOn't love Fox, but it's not terrible either. The sexual associations might concern me a bit.

It would not matter a whit if Russell meant fox. Nobody would know and if they did, why would they think it was too much? I think it's fine.Fox is not godawful, but my problem with it is that it's a trivializing word for someone who has sex appeal ... which makes it less than great. And it's celebby/charactery (some actor named a daughter Fox last summer) and surnamey (in other words not my style).

It feels like a news channel or a vulpine creature! Not a good name in my opinion and too much with the possible status of the name Russell.

Fox is contrived and cheesy to me. Like say, Fox Cash, the daring young cowboy who sweeps mousy librarian Emma Snodgrass (who is still horny as hell) off her feet. It's just lame.

Ah, but you forgot the part where Fox says he has an express train runnin' through his cock. ;)

I love Fox too! It was on my list for a while but then people's hate for it made me take it off, now it's back on again with a vengence :)
I see no reason why Russell and Fox couldn't be brothers, in fact I think they rather compliment each other.
Some middle names:
Fox William
Fox Benjamin
Fox Daniel
Fox Samson
Fox Jamison
Fox Harrison
Fox Isaac
Fox Edmund
Fox Sebastian
Fox Wolfgang
Fox Maurice
Fox HamiltonAny you like?

Fox William is the first and middle name, of the character "Mulder" of the TV show The X-Files. My fave show ever.Wonders if you knew that and got it from there?I love this combo and not just because I'm a fan of TXF, but because it just is a cool name. So great suggestion.:)

Fox Mulder - the reason why I love the name Fox. :)
I wouldn't use it in real life. At least not as a first name. Hmm... thinking about it, it would probably be pretty easy to convince me to use it as a first name. What can I say? I have a huge soft spot for Fox.
