Help[Opinions] Two celebrity BAs
I recently saw two recent birth announcements..
- Neve Campbell revealed her son's name.. Caspian.
- Kings of Leon drummer Nathan Followill's daughter.. Violet Marlowe Followill.
I find myself loving both names! Caspian instantly reminds me of C.S. Lewis' books and I love it and I don't usually like such masculine names for a girl (Marlowe) but I think this combo is just gorgeous.

They're decent names. I like Caspian, but it's not something I would use myself.
Violet is also decent, but it seems very Hollywood trendy to me considering that Violet is also the name of Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck's daughter.
I prefer Marlowe for a boy, but it's not bad as a middle name for a girl. It's close enough to Margo that it doesn't strike me as extremely masculine sounding.

Caspian has always sounded cartoon-like and juvenile. Sorry. I love Cyprian and Casper, so go figure. **shoulder shrug**
Violet is sweet and strong at the same time. Love it. Marlowe I can take as a mn only, and only if it's to honor a family's surname, or a favorite author, etc. (Christopher Marlowe?) Putting together Shakespearean combos I once came up with Celia Marlowe, so I'm not immune to its charms for a girl. The snob in me needs to know it's something more than random sounds to the parents. (I hope that makes sense.)
