[Opinions] Re: Lucy

I love it. Lucy is simple but spirited, full of youthful energy but good at any age, and it has a long, wonderful history with plenty of positive associations. That's a triple win for me. It's one of my three all-time favorite girl names.
I always picture a Lucy as intelligent and perhaps a little unconventional, maybe with dark hair and a sharp tongue. Unfortunately, my OH only pictures Lucy Ricardo, so he thinks it's ditzy and "old." As if that wasn't enough, his kids and their mom adopted a dog named Lucy last year--last nail in the coffin, as far as my chances of ever having a Lucy go.
