See, now that spelling makes me want to say cal-lee instead of kay-lee. I once had a dog named Calley (rhymes with Halley). She was sweet. I like that name.edit: my spelling is atrocious this evening.

The number of 'l's in the name affects how the 'a' behaves, thus Caley is KAY-lee and Calley is KA-lee; Haley is HAY-lee and Halley is HA-lee (unless it's the comet *sigh*) etc.
