[Opinions] Re: Sibyl
in reply to a message by rem
I love Sibyl. It's strong, feminine without being fussy and has a mythological connection. Perfect. Sensible shoes chic.Personally I use the Sibyl spelling because that's how the noun sibyl is spelled. I think the Sybil spelling is due to confusion with Sylvia. "Sibyl, Sage and Cyrus" is "s" heavy. But I love Sibyl and Cyrus so much I don't care. :-) By the way, I've surprised myself and recently learned to love the name Saga on a girl. Sage is too popular right now. I don't suppose I could interest you in Sibyl, Saga and Cyrus?Sibyl Minerva

Sage is already here and 3 years old. It doesn't seem too popular. I only know of one other. Cyrus is in the world too. He's 1. I'm hoping to add another to the world soon:)

*blushes* Of course. I don't know what I was thinking. . . . Well, isn't it nice to know everyone is naming their Sage's after yours? :-) (~~crawls away~~)

Well it's 461 on this site so while it's risen in popularity, I don't think it will ever be the next Emily or Ava. I would think my location would be more likely to have Sages since we have many outdoorsy folks and hippies, but I still don't see it often. It's rather an honoring name since it's what my Dad wanted to name me so I think I would have still used it even if it was a bit more popular.
