No, Rubika isn’t used here. My guess is that they just elaborated on Ruby via Annika, Danika, etc. ETA:

No idea what the grandmother is named (I’d guess Ruby).EETA: Yes, Jessica’s grandmother’s name is Ruby and the baby was named after her.
