[Facts] Meaning of...
I recently came across the name Isoletta and I thought it was cool. I have some questions about it. Does anyone know the meaning, origin, and pronunciation. I thought it was pronounced like Isabel, but other forums have been saying other things. Help!

According to the Italian Wikipedia, Isoletta is a small town in the Province of Frosinone, located in the Italian region of Lazio. It means "islet" in Italian. It is not used as a given name in Italy.

It is a baby name used in Italy, although rare. My great grandfather’s favourite aunt was named Isoletta. She was Tuscan.

As far as I can tell, Isoletta is an Italian word meaning "islet" (from isola "island"). It is pronounced ee-zo-LET-tah.
