This is a short form of
Zechariah (like
Zack is a short form of
Zachariah), but very rarely used in English-speaking countries - if the search results that Google yields are any indication. Possibly because it looks rather surname-y, as there is an actual surname Zeck (which I guess is of
German origin).
Still, what do you think of the name? Would it be a more refreshing Z-name? Do you prefer
Zack more? Does it have teasing potential? And so on. ;)
