I don't like Woody at all. I think of Toy Story, Woody Woodpecker and slang for erections. None of these are particularly good associations!

If I had to use it, it would be as a nickname for Edward.

Good point, but Woody and Buzz were modelled after two awesome real-life dudes, Woody Guthrie and Buzz Aldrin!
