Don and Jake were lucky - it wasn't long after they had contacted the adoption agency that they found out a pregnant teen in Idaho had chosen them to adopt their child. They flew from New York to Boise for an interview with her the next day. After a couple of days of long talks, Millie, the biological mother, said she had made her decision - she thought Don and Jake were great and really wanted her unborn child to have them as parents. Don and Jake were lucky - it wasn't long after they had contacted the adoption agency that they found out a pregnant teen in Idaho had chosen them to adopt their child. They flew from New York to Boise for an interview with her the next day. After a couple of days of long talks, Millie, the biological mother, said she had made her decision - she thought Don and Jake were great and really wanted her unborn child to have them as parents. Don and Jake were stoked! A couple of weeks later, they were able to take the little girl home. They decided to give her Don's surname, since it's easier to pronounce in English.

Cecilia was born with a shock of dark hair, and proved to be a very loud baby. Though she was born with blue eyes, they soon went grey, much like Ruby's. With the nursery set up in their home, Alessa and Ruby were cautiously excited about bringing their daughter home, and starting a very new life.
