[Opinions] How do you pronounce Melany?

Like Melanie, or mel-AH-nee, or something else?Opinions and combos are welcome as well :)

Not familiar with this spelling; would assume it's meant to be said like Melanie. Thinking about the kinds of names you like, and the meaning of Melanie, my mind went to volcano, then to fire, which brought Vesta to mind. Melany Vesta?

My first thought was that it was a variant of Melanie, so I'd pronounce it just like Melanie.Melany looks awkward to me. I would just stick with Melanie.

My initial reaction was to pronounce it like Melanie and I think that will happen often.

I'd assume it was an alternate spelling, like Melody/Melodie, and pronounce it like Melanie.
