I like Aubrey on a girl. When I was pregnant, it was actually on my girl list.
At this point, Aubrey is starting to feel overexposed. Aubrey and Aubree are both in the top 100. Aubrie and Aubri both make the top 1000, and who knows how many other (even odder) spellings might be out there. I still like it, but I just don't find it as interesting as I once did.

I'm quite used to male Aubreys of all ages here in South Africa, and I like it, though not enough to use; I've never met a female one, and I hope my luck holds.
That said, I don't like Audrey either.

I love Aubrey -- on a boy!
Meh.
I really like it for a boy. For a girl, I think it's trendy, but I definitely see the appeal.
Aubrey is the name of my great grandmother's brother, a rugged farmer, so I've always seen it as masculine.
I use to not like it at all, but I'm coming around to liking it for a girl. I prefer it for a boy. I like Audrey better (because I'm a fan of Audrey Hepburn). I think Aubrey would be a good choice for someone who might like the name Ashley, but not it overwhelming popularity and it's cliche stereotypes. I give Aubrey a 7 1/2 out of 10. I like it on dark haired girls (and boys!). Same as Audrey. I just picture ravened haired girl with doe eye.
I dislike it on girls because it should have stayed a male name IMO.
My great-grandmother's husband was named Aubrey.

I don't like it at all. Which is kind of peculiar as I'm a fan of Audrey. I just really, really hate that "b".
