She's probably a year old or so by now, but I saw an old BA in a paper this morning: Lydia Maude. Her parents and grandparents all had very classic, short, mid-century J names (Jean, Jane, James, John, etc.) so I'm glad they didn't keep up the tradition.

I quite like it. It's veering on the trend of old lady names without being too Victorian, and has a nice balance of elegance and youth. WDYT?

I think Lydia Maude was actually a Top 10 combo that I had for a while. One of the best BA-combos I've seen in a long time!

I also like that they spelled it Maude and not Maud. I always feel like the latter is missing something.

Lydia is a beautiful name. Maude isn't a name I would use myself, but Maude is unexpected these days. I like its quirky, old-fashioned vibe. I find the combo more exciting than something more expected like Lydia Grace.

Maude is very unattractive imho but Lydia is beautiful, and the combo flows well, and is rather charming.

I don't really like either of the names, but I appreciate the combo a lot more than most. A lot of BAs are so forgettable.

Those atrocities with misspelling (Madysyn) make anything that looks halfway decent look great.
