She's probably a year old or so by now, but I saw an old BA in a paper this morning:
Lydia Maude. Her parents and grandparents all had very classic, short, mid-century J names (
Jean,
Jane,
James,
John, etc.) so I'm glad they didn't keep up the tradition.
I quite like it. It's veering on the trend of old lady names without being too Victorian, and has a nice balance of elegance and youth. WDYT?
