Vigor has been used (rarely) in Sweden since the late 19th century. It's more likely inspired by Latin than by English (Vitalis was also common here at the same time), but I feel people tend to associate it more with Old Norse names nowadays. Probably because it's similar to Viggo and Vidar.

Most names are legitimate in Sweden, there are very few exceptions nowadays.
Villemo is an old Nordic name. It may be a variant of Vilhelm or a variant of Vellamo, which is a character in the Finnish national epos Kalevala.
