I agree with you. I used to like Theodore a lot until I admitted to myself that the main reason I liked it was because Theo was so appealing to me. So now I'm firmly on team Theo as a full name. I would definitely consider using it for my own child, and I have also met two just Theos and they had no trouble with their names at all.
