[Opinions] Re: Minona
Ahh, that's probably where Astrid Lindgren found "Minonna"! There is a minor character in Mio my Mio called Minonna-Nell. I think it's gorgeously sweet, but I have wondered where Lindgren found Minonna.

Hmm, I feel like I should remember Minonna-Nell. I mean I've read the book and I've watched the movie (centuries ago, or so it seems ;) ) - and I have no idea who Minonna-Nell was *blush*
I've tried to google her, but nothing. No mention of her anywhere.
So, Caprice, help me out, please. Who is she?
See how elusive Minona/Minonna is? :`(

I haven't actually read the book and it was probably 25 years since I watched the movie. It was my cousin who told me about Minonna-Nell. I think she is a sister of a boy called Jiri and they live by a well that whispers fairytales...or something...
There is also Milimani, the weaver's daughter, who sacrifices herself to save the others.
