Kristen. Kristen seems more feminine, like Karen or Lauren. Kristin has tin in it and seems stabby and verb-like (kristin').
Disclosure: I spent all my gradeschool years with a Kristen and a Kristin. They were both supersmart pretty "schoolgirl" types, but Kristen was more softspoken and less ambitious and aggressive. They probably influenced my opinion.
