So all of these names are pretty common where I am, so I'm not going to give numbers. But I know plenty of each.
SAMUEL
Most of the Sams I know are around my brothers ages (high school and younger) and they all go by Sam. I don't think I have once met one who went by Samuel.
JESSICA
Most of the Jessicas I know use the full version of there name or Jess.
JAMES
Jim and Jimmy seem to be an older generation thing around here. Most people my age (20s) and younger tend to use the full name. Only ever met one Jamie.
ALLIE (Ally, Ali)
Alexandra, Alexandria, Allison/Alison/Alyson, Alyse, Alicia/Aleisha
